Patty Feathers:

Patty is Placer West's Life and Health Insurance Customer Service Representative. She started working for Paul in August 2000 as his assistant, office manager, and all-around Girl Friday. As the business grew, so did Patty’s skills and knowledge of Life and Health Insurance. Though she had earned many hours towards a degree in a different field, insurance suited her, and she decided she could do more for the clients if she was licensed. She became a licensed Life and Health agent in December 2001. Patty works full-time to keep the office running smoothly by being able to run quotes or help clients with their policies while the agents are out in the field. She is well versed in the many varieties of Health and Dental policies. Still, she marvels at the fact that almost daily a client can ask a question that requires her to reach out to one of her many contacts at the insurance companies for assistance in answering the huge variety of questions that come her way. She assists the agents with their Life Insurance clients, as well. On the personal side…Patty was born and raised in the mid-west as the 7th of 10 children. The rest of her family still lives east of the Mississippi, but Patty has come to love the weather, the beautiful scenery, and the many activities California has to offer.

She married Troy Feathers in Florida in 1988. They drove cross-country to Lincoln California to help out with his dad’s business. Patty and Troy have two sons whom they continue to raise as a team, even though they divorced several years ago. Patty’s boys are both involved in PAL basketball. This involvement was especially lucky for Patty, as Alan Burton coached Ben a few years ago. Patty and Alan quickly hit it off and after nearly two years of dating were married in South Lake Tahoe June 21, 2004. Patty and her new family enjoy taking short vacations to the many parks and attractions offered in the Central California area.
