History

Placer West Insurance Services, which provides all lines of insurance, including commercial lines, last year celebrated five years of business in Lincoln. Paul Harrison, owner of Placer West Insurance Services celebrated the occasion with a backyard barbeque, complete with live entertainment provided by singer Halie O'Ryan, a fundraiser for the Shriners Hospital, and a 5-year Chamber of Commerce dedication. The festivities started at about 4:30pm and continued into the evening.

Paul Harrison and a former business partner opened Placer West Insurance Services in Lincoln in January 2002. Since its opening, Placer West Insurance Services has continued to grow. Prior to opening Placer West Insurance Services, Paul owned and operated Sierra Foothills Insurance Services and has accumulated nearly 20 years of experience.

Placer West Insurance Services specializes in Life and Health insurance in both personal and commercial lines.

Agent Patty Feathers followed Paul during his change from Sierra Foothills Insurance to Placer West Insurance and assisted with the business transition. Cynthia Elkins and Kathy Turner work together as the property casualty team, getting their clients the best home owners and auto policies around. In additin, they sell and maintain the commercial lines policies, including General Liability and Workers Compensation insurance. Receptionist Esmeralda Guzman worked at Placer West as a Lincoln High School ROP student several years ago and came back to Placer West to work along with bookkeeper Judy Rezendes to keep the office running smoothly. Esmeralda is able to help our Spanish speaking clients and we support her in her goal to be licensed very soon.
